What is The Too Alive Career Experience (TACE)

The Too Alive Career Experience (TACE) is a paid, cohort-based internship program designed to help young people ages 16-24 gain real-world experience while building the professional and life skills needed to succeed in today’s workforce. Participants work with creative businesses, nonprofits, and industry partners while receiving mentorship, career guidance, and structured learning rooted in accountability, communication, and self-awareness. The program is built for students and emerging professionals who are exploring career paths, developing confidence, and learning how to show up as professionals.

For partners, TACE offers access to motivated talent and a meaningful way to invest in workforce development and community impact. At its core, the experience is about turning potential into preparedness and helping young people take their next step with clarity and support.

How to Start

Intern Requirements

  • High school seniors or currently enrolled college students

  • Ability to commit to a 12-week cohort-based program

  • Availability of at least 15 hours per week for the duration of the internship

  • Strong interest in gaining real-world experience and building a professional network and portfolio that reflects their skills and growth

  • Willingness to show up consistently, communicate professionally, and engage in mentorship, training sessions, and collaborative projects

  • Must be a registered LLC or recognized business entity in good standing

  • Ability to commit to a 12-week partnership (minimum 110 hours) aligned with the internship structure

  • Willingness to host interns in a virtual, in-person, or hybrid format, depending on the role and business needs

  • No prior mentorship experience required; partners must be open to learning and collaborating within a structured program framework

  • Capacity to provide meaningful, skill-building work that supports intern growth and professional development

  • Commitment to clear communication, timely feedback, and a safe, respectful work environment
